Roy Seeth, Professional Trainer
Drake Training
Roy has worked in the Desktop training and consultancy industry for over 10 years. He started full-time then went contracting and returned to full-time training/ consulting. Over the years, Roy has worked with many national organisations on training projects, ranging from rollouts to development of solutions to training projects. He has also presented to a multitude of students from gardens to CEO’s to Board of Directors.

Utilising his passion for training, Roy has acquired the following skills:

• Creating and facilitating training programs
• Creating upgrade seminars and customised/tailored training course/s
• Upgrading students from one version of office to other
• Training students during the migration of e-mail systems (eg Lotus to Outlook)
• Developing and facilitating seminars
• Training graduates as a part of an induction
• Presenting traditional Microsoft office/other vendor courses from base level to highest level.
• Presenting training programs across both metropolitan and regional areas of Australia.

Qualifications
• Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
• Workplace Category 2 Training
• Bachelor of Business (majoring in information system)

Session Overview - Case study, how to & skills based
This session will provide the audience with an understanding of the inner workings of Microsoft Office 2007. The session will encompass the various applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Time will be spent on each application, presenting new features, capabilities, tips and tricks, and provide the audience with an understanding of the differences between Microsoft Office 2007 and earlier versions. The audience will see a preview of Drake Training’s standard course for Upgrading to Microsoft Office 2007 whilst exploring the new user interface.

Key Outcomes
At the end of this session, participants will:
- Have a basic understanding of the differences in the user interface for Microsoft Office 2007
- See the new capabilities and functionality of Microsoft Office 2007
- Know tips and tricks for using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook 2007
