Dr Richard Hyde - Operations Director
Atlantic Link (UK)

Richard is an e-learning specialist with significant experience of bespoke e-learning development over the past 15 years.

After a degree in Zoology he was attracted by the potential of IT in education and gained an MSc in Information Technology.

He then completed a PhD in Multimedia Technology which resulted in the design, implementation and evaluation of molecular modeling tools in chemistry education.  In 1996, he began a two year consultancy contract with Boots The Chemists (Nottingham), designing
and implementing their retail e-learning infrastructure.
In 1998, Richard joined BYG Systems as a Senior Project Manager and e-Learning Specialist.  He managed major blue chip e-learning contracts, developed e-learning strategies and innovative solutions for Vodafone, Debenhams, AXA, government, Arcadia and Lloyds pharmacy, and others.  He also gave numerous seminars and spoke
at e-learning exhibitions around the UK.
Richard joined Atlantic Link as a Director in 2003.  His responsibility is to conceive and deliver innovative e-learning solutions by managing product development.

 

Richard is an active member of the e-Learning Network (UK). He also works as a judge for the Brandon Hall e-Learning Awards
and the WOLCE awards (UK).

and pitfalls of this new strategy? How are organisations using it?


This session will give an up to date review of rapid e-learning and end with a challenge: Build a complete course in 10 minutes.
