How an Effective Compliance Training Program
can Help Protect your Brand
Why you should listen to Cam: Headliner Session:  Wed Sept 14, 2011    2:15pm - 2:30pm

As an airline, Air New Zealand Group (‘Air NZ’) operate in an environment where failure to adhere with legislation can lead to punitive damages and reputational harm. Accordingly, legislative compliance and damage to reputation were the main reasons that caused Air NZ to roll out a compliance training program. Air NZ felt that the understanding of legal “compliance” principles was of paramount importance if they were to continue to promote themselves and their businesses as people within an organisation who act fairly; with integrity. They wanted a programme to help minimise reputational damage by training staff to avoid mistakes that could potentially damage their standing in the industry. Cam will present to the audience on how Air NZ successfully prepared, delivered and monitored compliance training to almost 12,000 itinerant workers in a manner that has successfully educated workers on various legislative requirements, and helped Air NZ protect their reputation.
